[ He smirks, looking down at their twined hands. Hers are smaller than his, but he likes that. ]

That depends, is it working?

[ Don't say no or he'll really try showing off... ]

[ She smiles a little more, a faint shade of pink forming on her cheeks. ]

You don't even need to try to impress me, Nero.

[ He could make the biggest fool of himself in front of her and she'd still find him the most charming guy on the planet. ]

[ Nero beams. Boy, it's nice feeling so out of it, when Kyrie says things like that! ]

You're the best, Kyrie. I probably said that already, but if I haven't: you're the best.

[ She gives his hand another squeeze and gives it a gentle tug. She feels like she should get him home soon so he doesn't do something he'll regret. ]

Sorry, Nero, but I think you already hold that title.

[ But he chuckles, looking away to hide the obvious blush. Or maybe that's just whatever got him high? Debatable. ]

It's all thanks to you. I couldn't do it without you.

[ She loves Nero no matter what, but she had to admit, whatever he seemed to have gotten high off of was making him kind of adorable right now. ]

But what about you, Nero? You're like my knight in shining armor.

Maybe, yeah, but you're the one who gives me the strength to keep fighting.

[ He grins, bringing their joined hands to his chest. ]

I'll always protect you, Kyrie. When I think about you, I know I can do anything.

[ Gosh, he's cheesy ]

[ Her cheeks seem to heat up the more Nero talks. The more he talked about her the faster her heart started beating. How was Nero this charming??? It almost seemed unfair! Cheesy or not, it was definitely working. ]

Nero...

[ Shyly she stood on her toes to gain a little bit of height and tries to lean in to kiss his cheek. ]

[ Wow, he should do this more often, it's making him quite the hit. Of course, it's a lot easier to be sappy when he isn't being embarrassed or thinking about anything besides how much he loves Kyrie. He wraps an arm around her waist and holds he close, leaning into her kiss with a goofy smile. ]

[ The sappiness just sort of slipped past her lips. She couldn't help it when it came to Nero. She just let her heart speak when he was around. ]

[ It's definitely sappy but Nero keeps hugging her tight. It's a lot harder to find thing awkward when you're a little out of it. ]
